THE PEARL

We are pleased to announce the Pearl Project, which is located on the shores of Lake Mazais Baltezers, only 17 km from the centre of the capital, in one of the most prestigious suburbs of Riga, surrounded by pine forests. High-quality construction and architecture of the building that has won international awards fits perfectly into the picturesque landscape. There is a limited number of high-quality housing projects on the shore of a lake in Latvia, and quite a bit at affordable prices. The Pearl Project encompasses both of these benefits!

ARCHITECTURE

The house that seems to be floating above the water, is characterized by clean architectural lines. The original architecture of the project won the second prize at the prestigious architectural forum MIPIM in Cannes. Each apartment and the building itself is facing toward the lake by cascading terraces. Ecological and environmentally friendly materials have been used in construction. The wooden panels on the facade repeats the lines of pine trees of the surrounding forest, but the glass used in house construction, makes it look airy and clear.

MАRINA

One of the benefits of the project is the opportunity to use water vehicles and get to the city center, main ports and the Baltic Sea straight from the berth located next to the house. Along with apartments in the house you acquire a space for moorage of a motor boat and will be able to use all the opportunities of water recreation.

OBTAINING TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT

A foreign investor has the opportunity to obtain a temporary residence permit (TRP) in Latvia, in the case of purchase of one or more properties. The Pearl Project is located in the Riga planning region, and in order to obtain a residence permit the purchase amount of the property must be at least 100 000 lats (~142 370 Euro). In the Pearl Project the TRP may be obtained immediately after reservation of an apartment.

Obtaining a TRP in Latvia has a number of significant advantages for foreign investors:

• free movement throughout the countries that have joined the Schengen Agreement, crossing the internal borders of the countries without passport and border control;
• obtaining a TRP to the spouse, minor children of the owner of the property and his/her dependents on the same conditions;
• a TRP is issued for 5 years, and after expiration of the 5-year period it is possible to obtain an extension of the temporary residence permit, or obtain a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Latvia, or obtain the status of a permanent resident of the European Community in Latvia.
