Architectural design of Villa Hemingway was dictated by history; this house is a fully renovated classic Jurmala cottage with an area of 170 m². A surprising coincidence observed while studying the materials of archive: the writer's house in Cuba is incredibly similar to the original mansion of Jurmala. As a result, the visual similarity was reinforced, and the interior design is maintained in Hemingway's favorite nautical style.
