An important stage in the upcoming housing project “Rīgas Vārti” in Salaspils, located at 11 Nometņu Street, has been completed - the construction of the building frame has been completed and rafters have been erected, therefore, respecting Latvian traditions, the Topping Out Ceremony was held on April 16, which symbolizes the entry of construction into the next phase.
“The Topping Out Ceremony is one of the most beautiful moments in any construction process – when the last beam is placed atop a building during its construction the building gets an integral overall appearance, so this is always a special event for builders,” admits Ms Ieva Jansone, ARCO REAL ESTATE Sales Manager.
Mr. Juris Pitkevičs, a member of the board of the new housing project developer "Interbau", points out that the wreath hung at the highest point of the house is not only symbolic - it also confirms the good relations between the owners and builders and the safety of the building. In addition, in the context of the new housing project "Rīgas Vārti", the timing of this ceremony confirms that the construction works are proceeding according to the plan.
"Rīgas Vārti" is a new and modern apartment project, in which bright 1-4 room apartments with an area from 38 to 118 square meters are offered for sale. In total, the new five-storey building, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Salaspils, but at the same time in a remote and quiet place, has 93 practically planned and high-quality apartments, more than half of which are already booked. The housing project is planned to be put into operation this autumn.
