In December, the supply of apartments in Riga decreased by 16 % compared to the previous month. The number of apartments offered for sale in the largest housing estates of Riga analysed by ARCO REAL ESTATE decreased by 21 %. Compared to December 2020, the supply of apartments was generally lower: the total number of apartments offered for sale was 10 % lower than a year ago, but the supply of apartments in the largest housing estates was 19 % lower than a year ago.
Having summarized the number of apartments offered for sale in the housing estates of Riga, it can be concluded that the largest supply of apartments in December was in Purvciems, while the lowest - in Bolderāja.
Last month, the number of apartments offered for sale in the largest housing estates of Riga mostly decreased. The number of apartments offered for sale decreased the most in Iļģuciems – by 67 %, while it increased the most in Imanta (+14 %).
Compared to the beginning of 2020, in December the prices of standard-type apartments were higher by 10 %. But since the beginning of 2021, prices have increased by 12 %.
