ARCO REAL ESTATE started works required for ISO certification at the beginning of 2013, and already in late May received the ISO 9001:2009 Certificate, which is a proof of the high customer service standards of the Company.
In most cases it takes one year to obtain the Certificate, but ARCO REAL ESTATE managed to fulfil this complicated task within a relatively short time, since already in 2006 the Company developed the AREKAS∗, a customer services standard of ARCO REAL ESTATE, which includes a set of policies and guiding principles of customer service. The Company has also taken a number of other measures which served as a base both to improvement of the customer service quality and improvement of the Company's management system, as well as a support for obtaining the certificate after an audit.
The obtained certificate indicates that ARCO REAL ESTATE has based its activities on the quality and responsibility in communication and transactions with customers. Obtainment of the ISO 9001:2009 Certificate means that the Company implements good management practices aimed at business process control, continuous improvement and awareness of the changing requirements of the customers.
Mr. Aigars Šmits, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARCO REAL ESTATE, stressing the benefits of the significant achievement, said: "For our company – both managers and representatives of the whole company – the obtainment of the certificate does not mean that we have completed a process, but rather the fact that ARCO REAL ESTATE is in a stable development and day by day we want to improve our performance. ISO 9001:2009 is not a "height of fashion";, we have been moving steadily all these years towards obtainment of this certificate, and after 16 years in the Latvian real estate market we are able to demonstrate our professionalism and quality, obtaining a relevant certificate."
"We definitely will not stop upon the obtainment of the certificate - this is just one of the important stages of our company's activities. We will continue to develop and improve our service quality, as main evaluators of our activity are our customers, who have appreciated our quality already for 16 years," informs Mr. A. Šmits.
The ISO 9001:2009 Compliance Certificate certifies compliance of the quality management system of the Company with the requirements of the standard. The fact that the certificate was issued by an independent third-party certification body confirms to the Company's customers that the Company has developed, introduced and implemented internal processes necessary for performance of mutual obligations.
