„Arco Real Estate” hereby invites all interested persons to a press conference which will be held on February 21, 2008 and in which the Company will present a market analysis report providing concentrated information on the development of the Latvian real estate market in 2007.
Big changes have taken place both in the domestic and the global real estate markets in 2007. The law amendments adopted by the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia in connection with the inflation control plan, initially caused the expected price stabilisation in the real estate market. However, in response to the global real estate crisis, it was followed by a price reduction, which, in its turn, influenced the real estate market actors also psychologically, thereby showing to everyone that price fluctuations may be caused not only by economical reasons.
The real estate market report prepared by „Arco Real Estate” contains the newest information about sale of apartments and houses, construction of new multi-apartment houses, rental of residential premises, land properties designated for building of houses, commercial and office space rental market in Riga and other Latvian regions.
The following officials of „Arco Real Estate” will take part in the press conference: Mr. Aigars Šmits, Chairman of the Management Board; Mr. Viktors Savins, Chairman of the Council; and Mr. Māris Laukalējs, Head of the Valuation Department.
The press conference will be held at 11.00 AM on February 21, 2008 at the Reval Hotel Rīdzene, Reimersa Street 1, Conference Hall Bastejs 2/3.
