ALDARU GRANARY — is the name of the building at 10 Aldaru Street built in 1552, which used to be both a granary and a warehouse. Now the former granary has turned into a modern dwelling house, however, it has fully retained its peculiar charm. Aldary Granary is located in the very heart of Old Riga — between the Swedish Gate and Smilsu Street. The building has been completely reconstructed having preserved its historical values — wooden beams, stone walls — which, combined with elements of modern architecture. Building reconstruction design was made by architects from Zaigas Gailes birojs.
Office with two separate rooms and one room joined with the kitchen area, unfurnished; There are original wooden beams preserved in the apartment along with original niches in walls; wooden floors.
Fully furnished kitchen (cooker, fridge, dishwasher) and bathroom (washing/drying machine). Built in satellite TV, Internet access. Light shaft ensures natural lighting in the premises. There is an elevator, code entrance and intercom in the building.
