The office space classifier which was created as a result of the research work carried out by the real estate company ARCO REAL ESTATE and adjusted to the specific features of the local marked, and introduction of which facilitates the daily activities of the industry professionals and helps other persons not involved in the professional activities, has caused a positive resonance in the Latvian real estate marked, acknowledges Mr. Guntis Kanenbergs, author of development of the classifier and head of the Commercial Space Department of ARCO REAL ESTATE.
Mr. G. Kanenbergs stresses that this initiative of ARCO REAL ESTATE has highlighted the absence of a unified system, so now, under the leadership of the Latvian Real Estate Association leadership, there is created a working group of specialists of the major Latvian real estate companies whose intention is to adopt an office space classifier which will be binding on the members of the Association and the industry in general and which will be made on the basis of the successfully functioning tool developed by ARCO REAL ESTATE.
We would like to remind that in the beginning of 2014, ARCO REAL ESTATE developed for the needs of the local marked an office space classifier identifying whether a particular space belongs to a commonly known class A, B or C. The classifier summarizes the criteria used widely in Europe, adapting them to the specific features of the Latvian marked.
The office space classifier developed by ARCO REAL ESTATE since its introduction has provided a number of significant advantages: office space class definition improves the course of business, facilitating the daily work of real estate professionals, as the Riga office space is presented in a unified catalogue freely available to anyone, as well as improves understanding among people, who does not represent the industry. Mr. G. Kanenbergs adds that "the classifier has become a successful tool which can be used to inspect the compliance of the fixed rent level with the class defined".
