Mr. Māris Laukalējs, a Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the 1st Valuation Department of ARCO REAL ESTATE, and Mr. Kaspars Dzedulis, Head of the 2nd Valuation Department and Head of the Consultation Service of ARCO REAL ESTATE have been granted the Recognised European Valuer (REVTM) status.
The certificate is issued by The European Group of Valuers' Associations (TEGoVA). TEGoVA's Recognised European Valuer Scheme is designed to maintain, enhance and harmonise valuation standards and the valuation profession in Europe. Granting of the Recognised European Valuer status is an indicator of qualification and experience of the particular valuer in this profession.
More and more foreign investors, financial institutions, as well as private investors are interested in investment opportunities in the Republic of Latvia, and draw attention to the qualifications of valuers employed by the companies.
TEGoVA's certificate is a standard recognized in the European Union, as well as in Norway, Russia and other Eastern Block countries, so that customers can rely on the accuracy of information received when making cross-border investments in this time of economic uncertainty.
Latvian Association of Property Appraisers has granted the status of Certified Valuer to 108 valuers practising in Latvia, and only 11 of them have received the TEGoVA's certificate.
